Welcome to Himalayan International Yoga Academy & Research Center, the only yoga retreat in Kathmandu which is operated by experts and is committed to share yogic ways of healthy living and wellbeing with anybody who is interested. Our retreat is distinct from the usual sort of hotels in that our prime focus remains in much simpler ways of living a healthy and blissful life without destroying the priceless gifts of nature.

We do not boast of offering luxuries of a deluxe resort, but we do promise you an unforgettable experience enriched with the ancient secrets of yoga and meditation, alternative medicines, specially prepared organic food, and rejuvenating spa treatments, all under one roof. So if you think you have had enough of the tiring routines of life and are looking for a peaceful and place to stay, you can definitely count on our retreat.

Our retreat is situated in the southern hills of Kathmandu valley and has one bungalow, the Kailash, and four twin-bedded tents called Wisdom, Tranquility, Bliss and Harmony. Our restaurant serves nourishing organic diets, most of which are grown in our own farm.

We also provide special short and long duration courses on yoga and meditation. Spa, naturopathic and ayurvedic treatments are conducted by professionals and are available in different packgages, customisable in accordance to your own preferences.
